On behalf of the Ministry of Lands, Mines, and Energy for the Government of the Republic of Liberia (GOL) the Liberia Electricity Corporation (LEC) selected MHI as the operator for a management contract in Monrovia. As a component of the larger Management Contract in Liberia, MCW worked with MHI to prepare the design standards for a 20 kV distribution system. An electricity master plan was also prepared under the project, which included developing the material specifications for the reconstruction of the distribution system.
MHI also utilized the services of CMC Ltd. under the Management Services Contract, for the completion of a tariff study and to provide an environmental management plan for Liberia Electricity Corporation.
